«One could say that the question of the Relationship between sign, symbol, simulation, the false and the language of the false is at the heart of my work. If at a meta-narrative level, it unwinds my own experience of history of art – everything has been done so everything is to be redone, I also take care of more theoretical and pictorial issues, like suggestion and its multiple functions, through history of art for example, but also in the mechanisms of individual subjectification. My last exhibition entitled “Dystopian analysis”, at Museum Rath in Geneva, during the exhibition POST TENEBRAS LUXE, consisted in a series of drawings – photographs – paintings – wallpaper – mouldings, questioning a possible enterprise of hens on all fours, sorts of icons sweeping a surrealist pictorial field, ranging of self-reflectivity at the consumption critic. Through my creations, I am interested in the status of the work of art. CV
